California AB5 story on ABC7 Los Angeles

AB5 is an overly broad and terrible CA law that went into effect January 1, 2020 which attempts to make it much harder for independent contractor businesses to operate in the state of California. It is a complicated mess to be sure, but the end result will be less musicians will be hired for independent film work in California and production companies will just go out of the state or country to record their music. And that is a tragedy for the arts in California. I have been rather vocal about this. This story was one of those times.
